“Why join the navy if you can be a pirate?”
Cybernauts navigate through Internet, in a constant search for new information. But virtual information has become the White Whale for many of us. An obsessive search is always being conducted somewhere in the cyberspace through infinite holes of hyperlinks. As this virtual sea of knowledge seems limitless, so does the resources available in it. What is at stake in our virtual era is not the availability of information — as the World Wide Web has already managed to contain billions of gigabytes of knowledge—, but rather its reliability. People often engage in discussions with whichever reference supporting their idea. In this current state of affairs, to “cite useful references” seems a relativistic statement, therefore, this page will only set paths to navigate, and not specific texts or authors.
